Team Samarind Go Ape!
Samarind have got into the swing of things to raise money for charity.
Samarind have got into the swing of things to raise money for charity. On Saturday, a nine-strong team, which included directors Sadik and Miranda Pothiawala and their eldest daughter Emma, took part in the 'Tree-tops Challenge' at Cheshire's latest attraction, Go Ape.
Go Ape is an award-winning high wire forest adventure course of rope bridges, Tarzan swings and zip slides, all set high up in the tree tops in a section of the Delamere Forest. For the Tree-tops Challenge, Samarind's intrepid team were fitted with a climbing harness and had to trek from tree to tree through an obstacle course high above the forest floor.
Everyone completed the course exhausted but successful. The monkey business had a serious side: thanks to generous sponsorship from friends, family, colleagues and customers, the team members each managed to raise more than £100 for the Stroke Association.
